we got about the same here.

talked to my sister and she said they got about 1" where she lives, but closer to 4" where she works ('burbs of chitown)...and she says they have had the 3rd snowiest winter on record, I can believe it....

I think this is our snowiest winter on record down here. If I recall correctly anyways.

Last day of the week with students. Teacher institute tomorrow so meetings all day... Yay.

they did it again...they set us up for a 50 day and then dash our hopes with a front coming thru (and yes, the possibility of more SNOW

)....we keep getting crys of wolf on the spring front---hope the real wolf shows up soon.

Didn't hear anything about it yesterday. Guess they didn't get to it. So I should hear something today. If not guess I'll call and see what the deal is.

We are supposed to hit almost 50 today. Yesterday was 46 but with winds making it feel like 31... Not cool

Well that was random...

It was nice out again today. Though a tad bit windy.

It is Friday, thank goodness. All done for the week. And we picked up the wife's car. They said it didn't leak for them, so I don't what is up with that. We are going to take it back in a week or so and they are going to check again. Might have just been a fluke but who knows...

Everything is official now. The house is ours, all papers signed, sealed, and delivered. The wife and I made the trip to the County Courthouse to the Recorder of Deeds and gave them $75 to put it in their books. We then celebrated with lunch at the Country Cafe.

pwnd....I really hate it when the car doesnt do the 'thing' when you take it in...how rude (but perhaps it was only leaking because of weather related conditions??? or something like that).

yeah, it was nice today, but they have snow in the forecast for tomorrrow...really tired of it.

Congrats Perk!

They think it might have something to do with the weather. It was pretty cold when it started leaking so the metal and the gasket might have contracted and allowed the fluid to escape. Or there is a crack in the gasket but it isn't bad and only rears its head when it is cold out and the gasket shrinks... Taking it back in a week or so in hopes that we can get it sorted out for good...

and another dusting of snow for this weekend...its really getting on my nerves now.

did lots of cleaning this weekend...got some of my sweaters washed too (hand wash, argh, now I always look to make sure the clothes I buy are machine wash!)....so I hope spring is on its way.

We got a dusting yesterday. And it was cold and windy. Sigh. 50's-60's would be really nice right now. Of course my brother is out in the 80's where he lives...

We are getting rain at the current moment. Though it is supposed to stop soon. Better rain than snow.

Well my car is getting new tires on it today. Wife's car goes back to the shop Monday to get the transmission fixed (it started leaking again). Hopefully by the middle of next week we can be done with car stuff for a while...

It was a bit of a cold weekend for us. We spent it up north with her family. Not supposed to warm up again until next weekend. Got our new dining room set from my uncle and aunt (it was their's and they gave it to use for free, we just had to pay to move it). So we are storing it at my wife's sister's place until we get a place that can hold it. So the movers brought that on Saturday and it was less than we thought. So that was a plus. It was a fun weekend.

Ya car things... I got my car back and got it home to find out that I had a torn boot on my driver side CV joint. Farm and Fleet found it but didn't tell me. Just put it on the paperwork. So I had to call Sears, and they got it in the next day and fixed it. So now my car is doing alright, at least from what I can tell. Wife's car is in the shop, we should find out tomorrow what it is going to cost to fix.

Weather has actually been warmer here. Getting a string of thunderstorms at the moment. The north is apparently supposed to get hit with some snow but here we are getting rained and storms. Storms do need to stop for an hour and half so I can get all my stuff into school...

Car seems to have worked out. Turns out the casing was cracked so they basically closed it up with an epoxy. Should be good to go now. Also a lot cheaper than replacing that seal.
